Romsey and District Beekeepers' Association

The R&DBKA Annual Honey Show
For over 2 decades Romsey & District Beekeepers have had a stall at the Romsey Show, and hold their Honey Show on the Friday evening before the main event.
The next Romsey Show will be held on Saturday 14 September 2024; CLICK HERE to visit the Romsey Show website.
Our Honey Stall
On the day of the Romsey Show itself, we sell our members' excellent honey and hive products. We also offer candle rolling to the young (at heart), have live bees in an 'observation hive' (weather and all things permitting) and a variety of other displays. The entries for our Honey Show will be on display for all to admire.
What is a Honey Show?
Beekeepers are justifiably proud of their hive products, not only because it is a reward for their endeavours, but also because it shows that their bees have been well cared for.

It's not just honey. There are 'classes' for wax, bakes and confectionary, crafts amd photography. Entries are arranged on display stands, ready for the qualified honey judge to take a critical look and award prizes for the best.

Entries are submitted and displayed anonymously so that the judge can give an unbiased opinion.
